Human vision is sensitive only to a small part of the entire color spectrum. Infrared photography allows us to visualize reflected light that is otherwise invisible to us and opens another dimension of experimental photography.

Cameras using an infrared filter or cameras capable of shooting in infrared capture different wavelengths unseen by the human eye.  The unusual effects can be further manipulated to create unique images.
